Sorry, hi! I'm Galen. New to Civics, fairly new to driving, *is young* and I'm not so new to tickets stupid Cali cops. Pleas check out my post in the rides thread, I'm open to all comments on my car. Including anyone who wants to buy it.

My full ambition is seriously to buy that volvo, put in something incredible for the engine, basically restore one and then destroy the riceburners! but for now, I'll settle to driving my riceburner.

This year looks the best IMO...not sure what year you are looking for or anything but IMO wow...I love Volvo, but I wouldnt ditch my Honda for one of these! An S60 Evolve is a different story!!!

lol, I dunno... my civic is nice, but I'm also swedish... so there is some national pride issues that I'm having. I also like Saab, but I haven't found any Saabs that really speak to me. Though, the Volvo 142 coupe also looks pretty sweet.

I hadn't decided on year yet, but I will eventually.

lol. i used to driva an 85 volvo wagon! my parents bought it new, and when it came my time to drive, i could barely get it going past 80! LOL. but it was still fun to drive! I've gotten it up a hill at a camp, in which the only other vehicles to make it up there were the Climbing director's van (factory custom, lifted a little), the camp truck (i think chevy 3500) and a lost minivan that we have no idea how it made it up.

we had to finally let it go because it was costing too much to maintain, plus we had a 96 camry, 02 accord, and my 02 civic!

I agree Vantage, the 850 is a freaking sweet looking machine. I've also been told that you can fit a shitload of horses into that car.

Though, I have seen a picture of a Volvo 142 with enough torque to pop it into a wheelie off the line.
