My custom grill
Well, today I started making my own hood emblem. I took a piece of scrap aluminum, made a template of the logo I wanted and cut out the pieces using a scroll saw (almost took off my fingers while cutting the small piece for the mouth). Anyways, here are some of the pics I took. I'm not done yet - I've got a long way to go....I still need to sand each piece, polish, make a back plate, and mount it to the grill. I'll try and keep this updated with my progress.

And before I get flamed for choosing to use the Autobot's symbol - I chose this symbol because it has the Honda "H" encoporated into the mouth.

I think it looks cool man.. should paint everything in black except for the part that has the "H" so it doesn't really stand out but you can still see the design.

I'm not too sure....but you've got me thinking, maybe I'll paint the entire thing a matte black so that is doesn't really draw so much attention to it.

thats looks really cool. making it all black would look really good. cause then it blends in, but yet still stands out know what i mean.
