thats a nice little set up , i had 2 of those in my trunk and they were pretty nice. I sold them though, i think u would be happy with it

if it actually is in "excellent condition" and everything works like new, then its a great set-up. becareful with customs though, that person is located in canada? heard various stories of ebay shipments from usa to canada or canada to usa...

fyi: alpine came out with a new model type-r in 2005...
handles 200rms more watts than the older version. but all alpine type-r subs are great equipment.

i had the same set up, but i had a MRP-m350 amp (pretty much the same). it hits hard, just wire it to 4ohm. 2ohm will eventually kill the amp and so will lil jon. haha
