04-05 Cleared Headlights and first pics of my car!

Last night I removed the front bumper and worked all night installing fog lights, grills, and trying something that, to my knowledge, I haven't seen done yet; clearing the 04-05 headlights! I put headlight in oven @ 250F for 10 mins, then removed and took in half. Took out amber lense, gave it two coats of chrome paint, reinserted. Installing the fog lights was quite a bit of work, but I got it all finished finally this morning (stayed up all night). If anyone else has cleared 04-05 headlights, lemme know! Here's several pics, I'll take better ones tomarrow!

someone had cleared their 04 back when the 04 was less than 6 months old...than they painted the amber peice black...and now they painted the housing black...like a lot of ppl did now...which looks awesome...i have blacked out housing on my 04

How about smoking the whole headlights with Lamin-X...may sound horrible, but may look raw.

i'm not crazy about the blackedout or the lamin-x.... i like the cleared out look, especially crusin at night just like that... signals and fogs! I'm usin texon h11 8000k in my foglights and APC IcyHot 1157s blue in my signals. Not an APC fan at all, but I already had the headlights out and hadn't ordered bulbs, so i just picked up a set last second at advance auto. Will try to get day pics soon. Thanx for the love all.

edit:damn that first pic i took is sweet. I've set it as the background for all computers in my house!

...i had passenger side rotated out so drivers side would be in for the first pic; the wheel just didn't show up in it.

I don't think he means how your wheels are turned in the pic to show off the rims...I think he's referring to the second pic...If you look at your tire, the tread design is reversed.....so I guess Xenin means your tires are on backwards?

couldn't stand stock grill; it was either that in silver or black or chrome grill, which i didn't like at all. Plus I think it will offset carbonfiber hood welll; don't want too much black.
