Well, it finally happened. the vic got wrecked. some lady was at a complete stop in traffic and tried to switch lanes into my lane. thing was, i was right ****ing next to her going about 35 mph. my front driver's side quarter panel area smacked into her rear passenger side quarter panel which then sent me into a curb ****ing up both wheels and one tire on my passenger side. all in all, front bumper is ****ed, head light needs replaced, 3 wheels, 1 maybe 2 tires need replaced radiator cover, and front fender. completely her fault but she told her insurance agency i switched lanes, which i did about 120 feet behind her and at the point of impact, i was completely in my lane moving forward. she was stationary in the middle of a pack of about 6 cars. i got about a car length away from her and she started pulling out. i slammed on the brakes but it was too late.

hopefully now ill get some new rims and some black housing headlights. atleast i didnt install my lip kit yet or i would have to replace that also.

but now that her insurance copy is debating cause she said i swtiched lanes, its gunna take forever to get the police report and ****. she is just delaying the enevitable....its her fault! even the cop that wrote the report said she was totally in the wrong. she even admitted to me of being totally in the wrong.

****ing lady, so my car looks like hell for a while now....this sucks.

In a case like that, it is best to actually get any witnesses to write down what happened and then get their info so they can vouch for you

i had an accident once before and the freaking lady totally admitted the fault and she's willing to go to police station after she finished moving her stuff... after that, i couldn't reach her at all but luckily her insurance paid for all the damage...

well now you can get a body kit to replace your front bumper, z3 fenders to change out your quarter panel. rims for you old tires. you should look at the good side of things. plus hopefully you'll get some money out of it.

that sucks man, i had the same happen yesterday, this guy tried to turn into the most outer lane where i was in the area where there is no dashed lines, you know where people turn. the middle of the street basically. i had to brake hard as crap and ended up riding the curb. then he saw me and let me get back on the road. i got lucky, maybe you will too. they should give you top dollar for the car. no joke.

ya this lady totally changed her story for the insurance company so now before her insurance company can make a decision they need the police report which hasnt been writen up yet, it will be available monday. i know the police report is in my favor cause i heard her side of the story when she told the cops and it was the same as mine. it is jsut gunna take a while i guess. got my first estimate....$2100. going to get a few more tomorrow.

they are estimating my wheels at $185 a piece....$185x3wheels=$555...haha u can buy the whole set plus tires for $650 off wheelsnext.com...........i hope they give me 185....ill get new wheels all together...something better and lighter.

Sorry to break this to you but unless you get a lawyer who knows the odds and ends, you are gonna end up with the cheapest crap they give you unless you get an estimate saying you need those.
