Got rid of her...stripped her down this morning and did a trade in. Basically, I needed a truck for work and the wife wouldn't let me trade in the Jeep Grand Cherokee, so I broke down and split with the car. Parting is such sweet sorrow.
Anyway, here are a few pics of the new ride. It's a 2005 Nissan Frontier Crew Cab LE with the 4.0L V6...265 hp and 285 ft-lbs torque...it gets up and goes pretty quick. My first truck was a 1999 Frontier and it got totalled in Nov. 2004, that's when we got the Jeep, she started driving it, and I took over the car and turned it into what it was. Well all that it was is sitting in the garage and for sale now. I'll prolly be around long enough to sell all the stuff I took off the car, so if anybody is interested in some 18" ADR Version II's in custom hypersilver (1 of a kind wheels), let me know. It's been fun.

Rep Power: 0 Meh....Honda Ridgeline was way more expensive for the same package, and not as much power (255 hp vs. 265 hp) and nowhere near as much torque (252 ft-lbs vs. 285 ft-lbs). I looked at both, and this was the better deal. Plus I've had a Nissan truck before like I mentioned and really enjoy the reiliability and community that's out there (similar to this website).
Nothing against Honda's first stab at a truck for the USDM, but I just prefer the Nissan in the end.

Rep Power: 278 Nissan makes a good truck. Nice choice. My 85 720 Pickup still runs like a top. It just will not die! So I keep driving it. But do yourself a favor, if you don't already have it, get a Rhinoliner in there. Best money I ever spent on my truck.
I hate to say it, I'd also go Nissan or Toyota over Honda for a truck. I like the ridgeline just fine, but it is first generation TRUCK from Honda, and it IS overpriced. Sorry.

Rep Power: 0 Thanks for all the compliments. You know, I really didn't expect it...I expected more of the "you suck!...why'd you trade for a truck!...nissan sucks!" kind of remarks. Thanks again.
As for the bedliner. The new Nissan trucks come with a factory sprayed in bedliner standard. Quality equals or exceeds that of Rhinoliner, Line-X, Herculiner, etc. So that was a big plus.

Rep Power: 340 I'd only make fun of you if you got a Honda truck. I like Honda and all, but it'd be a cold day in hell before I'd ever buy a truck made by Honda. The Frontier is pretty nice though. The Frontier, Titan, and Tundra are actually legit trucks.
Got any plans for it?
