Rep Power: 0 Lower or Body Kit?
Ok, i have around $2000 saved up for the summer to do stuff to my car with and i will make about $2500 over the summer, so my options are very open, i either want to get a lip kit or the xenon body kit or lower my car, cant do both because of my driveway, i only have enough clearence to get a small body kit or lip kit or lower my car. Where can you get a lip kit for a fairly low price and how much does it cost to paint? anyone know? If i get a lip kit i could lower my car maybe an inch, but ifi go with the xenon body kit, no lowering, which one would be my cheapest route? I am also goiing to get 17" Falken rims and exhaust
thanks
thanks

Teins for around 700ish
even if you decide to go with spring/shock set up, it'll cost you around 5~700
If i could go back, I'd go w B&G's

Rep Power: 306 get some coilovers or springs/shocks, simply because you will get a performance increase out of it. a kit would look pretty good, but then you constantly have to worry about scraping and fvcking it all up.

Rep Power: 258 Just lower it. A full coilover setup will not be a waste of money but a body kit will due to the fact you gotta worry about it scrapping up just like silver04 stated above.

Rep Power: 0 if you do a drop, just get the full coilover.. i have the lowering springs now and i wish i bought the coilover at the beginning.... because i need to buy shocks and all that stuff.. it's going to cost as much as the full coilver anyway..

Rep Power: 0 B&G is nice if you want max drop(allows for height adjustment only, but goes lower than tein basic)
tein basic is nice if you want a nice drop and nice ride
tein SS is nicer if u want basic... but u can adjust damper (stiffness)
tein SS-p is same as SS but add's pillowball mounts.. which increase stiffness and add a little control (as well as front camber adjustment)
tein flex is the top of the line.. has height adjustment (like basic/ss/ss-p), has damper adjustment (like ss/ss-p), and has seperate height/preload adjustment (meaning you can slam it and make the suspensiopn travel far, or slam it and have suspension travel minimal, or raise w/ max susp travel or... raisew/ min suspension travel.. also it incorporates EDFC (electronic Damper Force controller) allows you to adjust the damper from inside the car
also their is hayame/jic/etc ... i havent owned them.. so i dont personally suggest them
(hayame---is height adjustable w/ seperate preload (kinda like FLEX w/o damper and w/o EDFc compatibility)
JIC=like FLEX but has **** at the bottom to adjust damper (not EDFC compatible)
anywho.. these are just drop suggestions and a way to "get your feet on the ground" and know whats/what ina nutshell.
if you have any other questions/comments and concerns lemme know.
