body kit time or replace oem
ok well i have front and rear damage it seems easier to just replace the front and rear bumper covers, the insruacne estimated 750 for the front and 550 for the rear, problem is my deductible is 500 so im paying most of it, so since im paying for it i might as well get what i want, any suggestions? i have a 2005 lx sedan, i was thinking at the minimum get a coupe grill and take the emblems of the rear, its magnessium metallic, thanks for your input

well since they have really no kits out for our cars yet.. i say just either get the lip kit like Viper or just do something custom.. like get the body kit u like most for the 01-03's and just fit it to your car..

bodyshops will scratch too. just be careful when you do it and like you said, you don't have money to throw around so by doing it yourself you save about 250.
bodykits look nasty, lip kits are the way to go.

the rear is different, that is why _Viper_ got an acura el rear bumper to fit his kit on, i could get the 01 rear end i guess and get a lip for that

you can use the same kit on the sedan, I did it myself. The only differendce is the back, you need to screw the kit into the bumper from under the car, really not a big deal and you cannot notice it, looks great. the sides are exactly the same length
I would do a lip kit. I own a 2002 4 door sedan and i went with a different grill and painted it the same color of my car and i went the Kaminari lip kit and it looks sick. The grill looks awsome and i am putting in fog lights so I would go stock front and rear bumper. I tried to put a bdy kit on but it looked bad becasue it is off in some spots so i decieded to sell it and put a lip kit on with new tail lights and headlights
Heres the grill i was talking about http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...category=33645
