Rep Power: 0 Stock tails or aftermarket?
Hey yall...I have a set of carbon fiber tails that I used to have on my car.
Here is a picture of them...
Anyways, so the seal busted on them and I am thinking of sealing them back with silicone, but I was wondering if you guys think the stock tails or the carbon fiber ones look better. My friend says the carbon fiber cause it matches the color of my car. Im not sure if I should put them back on or not. What do you guys think? Stay stock or put the others back on? Thanks for your help!

Rep Power: 0 Ya think I should smoke them with the spray tint stuff? I have been thinking about doing that..What if I take the aftermarket and tint them... that way if i screw up, I won't mess up my OEM lights....

Yeah I had those tails last year....they busted like 2 months after I had them. I just saw my other tails laying around and it started me thinking.

Rep Power: 270 04 tails or aftermarket?! Shouldn't be a question in my opinion.. 04 hands down. There is a reason people pay to buy them and convert from 01-03

Rep Power: 306 go back to stock man.....
as for film smoke, there is that one guy on ebay that sells it, but its like 50 dollars. what i did was i bought some 01-03 stock tails, tried to smoke them using spray, fvcked them up, then i bought axius insta-cling window tint film 20%, and put that on my 04s. it looks soo much cleaner than the spray tinted ones, and it is a hell of a lot easier than spraying them and worrying about them being even. the tint film was like 7 dollars at wal mart and all you have to do is clean the tail light, press on the tint film, then cut it to size. took about 15 mins. and it just peels right off if you need to, and its reusable
