I got into a car accident today and Henry is suffering!

So I've never been in an accident beyond fender benders until today! I was sitting at Beaver Ruin and Satellite waiting to cross Beaver Ruin towards Duluth...well a teacher from Nesbit elemetary gets pissed off at a school bus (IRONIC I KNOW!) that cuts her off...she then jerks her car into the left lane rear ending a Jeep causing the lady in the Jeep to go from braking to accelerate into my ***....Needless to say I was quick to get the police on the phone and my poor baby is hurt really bad, but none of the people involved are hurt..The lady who started the entire thing was the only one to get ticketed...right now I'm hurting from it!

Cliff Notes:

1. Chrysler town & country rear ends a jeep.
2. Jeep takes foot off break and onto gas into my back end.
3. I keep on my brake and take the impact.

couldve been worse even though they will definately find more damage than they estimated upon removal of rear bumper. oh and you have long toes

Depends on what kind of damage happened to your car and if it was your fault or not...If not at fault and severe damage you usually get one....

thats not bad man, your gonna get a new trunk lid, new bumper and your all set unless theres hidden damage, but totally sux to get hit.

The dudes at honda say they'll hook me up with a body kit if i want one...and maybe get all dings out and new paint all around...The rear pic with the trunk open that rear support is all kinds of F'ed up...

well from my experience ( as a bodyman) you need trunk, bumper, probably need repair or replacemtn of the piece with the deck lid striker on it, its an extension of the floorpan and wether you can see it or not the quarter panels are most likely bowed out slightly enough that if it goes untouched youll see it once ur car is together again, also i cant tell from the pic but if the trunk is at all seperated from those lights something holding it most likely cracked or snapped and if even the littlest thing did they will get replaced. plus they will have to pay to "blend" the quarters to the trunk and bumper especailly with that color paint so youll end up with new paint on entire rear end and new clearcoat from rear tires up onto a-pillar c-pillar and maybe rockers if the people are nice

They offered $250 for me for inconvenience. I threw the thing in the trash and left the case open. Legally, you can keep the medical file open for 3 years in case you have pain later. The only thing is an exhaust rattle with my car that they couldn't figure out. That and the paint isn't perfect. You can tell from certain angles it doesn't match. Stupid silver. And stupid drivers on cell phones.

i know driving and talking on phones is bad but actually it saved my front end once cus i was talking to a buddy (on speakerphone) while i was trying to reset the trip and he was able to warn me of a guy that kept creaping forward then cut me off.
