Went From 2002 Turbo Vic >>>> 2005 RSX-S
Hey guys. I was a member for a while and shared a lot with you guys. And also got tons of help from you guys. I appreciate all the help I have gotten off of these forums. Installing a turbo kit was quite a task for me and without you boys it would have been hard! Thanks for everything.
I finally sold my civic for $17,500.00 which was reasonable....
I ordered my 2005 RSX-s the next day!
I have about 2,000 miles on the new rsx.... and I love it to death. It truely is an all-around better car IMO. I loved my civic, but I am obsessed with this one. So far my only mods are Injen CAI, DC Race Header, Tint, Progress lowering springs, Arospeed Xpress rims... and an IMG. I took these pics the first week I had the car, so it only had the windows tinted... no other mods. If you guys want, I will post some pics of how it looks now? Let me know if your interested.
Thanks again for all the help....

I definitly miss the boost. I won't lie... there's nothing like the sound of the BOV or the torque of a turbo....
But I also will say that it is nice to have a car just as fast as my civic was... and have it be stock.... so I can beat the hell out of it... without much worry. It is predictable and reliable.... that I like.
But... boost may be in the future for this car. Most rsx's with a average turbo and light boost run low to mid 13's.... which would be nice. But I am thinking about going the NA route with this car... simply because this engine reacts so well to light mods.
With just a CAI I am putting down 185 whp... The race header is supposed to add another 10-15whp.... So I am right around 200whp with two simple mods.... And the car is so loud and deep.
But it will never sound as good as the vic did boosted.... that was creeme sounding.

I bet if you get Individual TB's or a bored TB, Port & Polished head, K-Pro or other system, Cams, Gears and the I/H/E you will have ALOT more than 185 whp!!! that would be super nice and super reliable!!! I would cream over that for you! and no worry about boost problems
[EDIT]Wait: If you want boost but alot of reliability the Jackson Racing superchargers add alot more low end torque and some high end hp to make the car super fun as a daily driver!!!! I would be so so jealous![/EDIT]

Sold the vic for 17,500 becuase I had roughly $30,000+ invested in it.... it only had 18,100 miles on it.... and there wasn't one flaw.... brand new wheels, brand new tires.... brand new turbo kit... the car was for show... not for driving... so it was in great shape.
As far as my car... As of right now I dont plan on boosting it. Hondata just barely made an application for our ECU... Kpro... It added 20whp and 20wtq so... that is near. Then I will do Race Header... CAI... IMG.... Coolant bypass...better wheels/tires... pullies.... flywheel...clutch... and then I will be playing with stock sti's and evo's
I will upload some better pics monday for you guys... with the wheels and drop.
Thanks for the comments!

Kill List as of 5-4-05
This is a kill list as of now. This kill list is 100% stock except for the Injen CAI.... stock wheels and tires at the time. Let me know if you want a more in-detail of how the race went.
* 2001 Hyuandi Tiburon GT-v6... Beat him off the line... from a rolll.... anywheres... not to impressed with that car
* 3000GT NA FWD with I/h/e.... beat him by about 6 cars to 100mph
* Toyota Tundra
..... raced at a stoplight... pretty sad...
* 1996 Jetta with a VR6 conversion.... raced from a stoplight beat him by about 4 cars to 100mph
* VW corrado with I/H/E.... beat him by about 1.5 cars to 80mph
* Stock 2003 Subaru WRX.... he took me off the line caught him at the end of 3rd gear and had him by about 3/4 of a car when we shut down....
* 2002 VW GTI VR6.... Took him by about 3 cars to 80mph
* 2004 BMW 530i RWD.... beat him by 1/2 car to 85mph
I have lost 1 race so far. It was to my friend with a 1996 neon with a 2001 magnum engine swap... full built engine and 100shot of nitrous express. He beat me by 2 cars to 100mph....

Yes I am now a "senior member" of clubrsx... Thanks for letting me know though. That is another great site with a lot of great info!
I forgot about one more race.
It was a brand new Subbi Legacy GT with wheels as far as I could see.. I doubt there were and engine mods cuz it was an older man... but who knows.
We raced on the interstate from about 50-110 and we were right next to eachother all the way. Very fast car!

civiccoupke2k2.... how much do you want to pay for them? They are going for anywheres from 700-1200 on clubrsx.... everyone wants them?
They are 17x7 with michelin pilots. Brand new... they only have about 700 miles on them. They are made by enkei... weigh about 21lbs.
I wasn't planning on selling them... but i would consider it I suppose
