Rep Power: 0 Auto to Manual Shift boot
well i tried searching and couldnt find any diy's. well i wanna change the prnd thing and make it look like a manual, cuz i think it will look cleaner. As i searched i found the materials for doing this are:
manual shift boot
a shift **** (do they matter if its for an auto or manual)
and a silver piece where the boot connects to (where do u get this?)
is that all u need to get? and as far as the diy is concerned, all u gotta do is remove the 2 screws of the center console and remove the auto thing and then replace it?

The shift **** does matter as you need a button to shift in and out of gears.
"and a silver piece where the boot connects to..." <---What?
Anyway, I just received my '03 center console shifter piece from Majestic Honda and I will be installing it during the week to do the same thing that you're doing.

Rep Power: 0 I think the "silver piece" you're talking about is the ring attached to the OEM shift boot.
And, yes, you can just get a shift boot and cram it in your Automatic Center console, but IMO it doesn't look good. I would suggest getting the whole Manual center console piece and boot (Roughly 25$) and replace yours.
