[PIC] Caliper Paint + Detail

So this weekend was a such a nice weekend we(Skiboard and DnarahP) desided to do some caliper paint + carwash thing
caliper & drum painting came out good
I thought it would be ricy with Red but wanted to giv it some accents so I went with Red.

your ride is looking SWEET I painted mine red too but i never painted the rear drums... looks good tho

damn very nice! should have done silver skiboard, would match more :P n btw... that was fast man u put all ur stuff bak on ur car alrdy after that insurance thing? hehhh

oh and what kind of power washer is that ur using? i want one, but iono if its worth it

Pressure washers are worth it man. around 80 bucks
yeah. I couldnt just drive around with stock car lol
so in like 24 hours total, I took everything off and on haha
My spoiler is still off tho.. I donno I should keep it off or not

By the way, caliper paint comes off with time

mine starts to peel off a bit after 3 rd year

How did you clean your caliper?? what did you use?

And did you just cover your rotors and other stuff with the plastic and painted the calipers??

I will answer everyone here:


After 3rd year, there start to have rust on the rear drum and the paint peels off. The caliper is ok.

Yeah, just cover with paper and paint, no need to worry too much.

Paint rear drum black is way better than no paint at all.

I'm also curious about how you prepped the calipers and rums before painting. I would imagine a stiff wire brush and maybe sandpaper? How did you get in the nooks and crannies?
Also, do you need a special high-temp primer?
