anyone with lambo doors or general knowledge of them!!! help (get +rep)

i was looking at my doors today... they seem like they should beopening ALOT more then they do. heres a pic of mine you can compare with another guy on this site with further opening doors.
should i take off the gas shock and take it to autozone and ask for one a lil longer??? i also want one a bit stronger what strength do you recommend?? any part numbers or somethin would be sweet but thanks for any input!

InOvAtStyL is on a distinguished road
The longer the rod, the stronger you're shocks have to be. I'm not sure which kit you have, but it's most likly your shocks that are the cause to the lift of the door. The higher your doors go, however, the faster your shocks will blow. My kit was one of the first prototype kits from JT autostyle. At first, the doors would swing really high, but the shocks would blow really quickly. The latest kit the put on my doors don't swing as high, but the shocks are strong as hell. I can easily hit the cement supports in a parking garage with my kit now. Good luck trying to find new shocks. Let me know how it goes.

Fiji-Steve is an unknown quantity at this point
the shocks i have on my car are 700lb, it would help if you had a side shot of your door to compare it to mine....from the back though, it looks fine...
