Which Car to Get
My lease is coming to an end next month. I was all ready to get a nice 350z Enthusiast. But i just landed a job selling real estate and i need to be able to drive people around to see houses. I want to get a nice sporty 4 door car. I went to the the new Acura TSX and it seems to be a good choice. But i stumbled up the new Nissan Altima SE-R. I need a car to be below 30,000. Any ideas?
Acura TSX
Nissan Altima SE-R
Or something else

I'd go for the TSX with it's smooth and conservative look. Not to mention that is comes nicely equiped for a great price. In your line of work, I don't think you want to portray yourself has Ricer McRiceboy.

I like the TSX, that would be my choice, I had one as a rental car, that thing was nice. I’m sure the Altima has more power, but if you want more power go with a different Acura, like the TL or something.
Just a note, though, I know people who have decide not to buy from people simply based on the fact they drive a foreign car. You may want to look domestic just to keep your clients happy, just a thought. My fiancé’s grand father is that way, he worked at Ford for 30+ years.
And yes, don’t tell me about how American Hondas are, I live in Ohio, the number 1 employer in Ohio is the state it’s self and the number 2 employer in Ohio is Honda, so please don’t lecture me, I’m just trying to point out an observation.

You need something larger if you are going to do real estate. A TSX will not cut it just because of the long trips. A TL is fine but try to pick up some kind of SUV. Maybe a Mercedes 350ML or something used like a ML320 for around 16k with (2000 or 2001). Just a thought on how to make people comfortable.
I agree with the domestic car part, but see who your clientel is. If your going to be doing 150k-250k homes then I would say domestic. If you are going to be doing 500k+ homes, then I would say foreign and german is best. If its mostly condos to younger couples, then I would say TSX or soemething that is savvy to younger consumer.
Just think who your buyers/sellers will be and go from there.
My insight

Unfortunatley, for a position like this, you cannot go with a "kids" car or anything that shows enthusiasm in cars. Your automobile has to be subtle yet portray that you enjoy success. STI, evo, etc all out of hte question bc many who are buying a home see those cars as an economy car with add ons instead of what you and I see it as.

Here I am talking about lexus again. Have you looked at the gs or maybe the IS? Go drive one. In my opinion they do a fine job building cars. Some of them look too camaryish but I believe the gs and IS are clean.
Boosted IS-300 used would be the choice. Here is my buddy's boosted IS-300, he flew to Dallas, TX to pick it up. He found it in Autotrader and paid $32,000 for it from some dude who's wife made him get rid of it beacuse it was to fast for the family car.

I love riding in that car, even that car would keep up with my old sportbike almost.

TSX. Its a luxery car from Honda, what more can you ask? It's got one of those famous high revving Honda engines and it's comfortable for a sedan without being overly large.

That's a good point too. What price of homes are you selling. If you are going to be selling to retired people, domestic will certianly be a plus, older people just don't seem to understand the world market as well as younger people.

i dont think to many people here know much about real estate not that im a pro but there are realtors who sell million dollar homes in mini vans and 5th gen accords and such. clients dont give a rats *** what you drive as long as its decent. plus if you do real estate you know that you get a tax break in your auto purchase right.
Would you consider a slightly used G35 sedan. It's more or less a 4 door 350Z. They come in 6 spd and look great. Found this one for you:
