Rims, intake, exhaust... now what??
So basically... I'm bored and I haven't even started. I mean, shy of a turbo/nos setup, I have no clue what's next? I could act like one of those 16 year old kids and just go off what I've seen in video games(NFSU, NFSU2), but I'd rather ask questions and get answers instead.
What's next? I mean, I know where this is going, but seriously, shy of doing something stupid, what's next?
I was thinking maybe a new throttle body? Maybe a performance chip? I mean obviously I have no idea what's next. Is this stuff the same as building a small block? Obviously the 350 you can get from Edelbrock for a Camaro comes with a whole kit for the car.
I don't really want to get crazy with visuals. I'm thinking sleeper, here. I have no clue what I'm doing. I can do the wrenchwork, I just need a guide. Anyone feel like guiding a rookie through this? Help!!!!?!?!?!111!!???///

Okay. Suspension... okay... I had looked into that... so parts from '01 and up as far as performance will work on my car?
Just springs? Shocks too? What else?

IMO suspension is where to start. You'll see the most benefit from performing mods like springs / struts, coilovers, braces, rims tires, etc; and they are relatively cheap. Or you could go the other route and just build a turbo...

I get to ask all the dumb questions tonight, guys. Seriously, I'm learning... at least I can plead blatant ignorance. So if I order springs, do I absolutely have to replace the struts/shocks? My car only has 12,000 miles on it, and I'd only be dropping it 1.75 in the front and 1.50 in the back. Seriously, someone advise, everyone else can laugh, I don't care.
Last time I had this much fun some furniture got broken!

venom has a mean chip if you wont turbo.
DVD Player and system are always good. (Look at my gallery!)
Lambo doors nice but a pain and alot of $$$
suspension mods surprisingly cheap for these cars too! sway bars, coilovers with everything in the package and some strut bars and you are set!

Oh! I got another one. My brother drag races in southern Indiana(cash bracket racing, all you need is a consistent car to win $400 a week), and I'd like to get into it, but I want my car to be bulletproof. I don't want to tear anything up. I noticed last year that a few punks had stock Civics they were trying to drag race and ****. Three of them ended up busting up CV joints due to torque and whatnot. Where can I buy ones that won't break when torqued? Anyone know what I'm talking about?

I'd buy your springs, but I'm not into buying online. How far away from Indianapolis? If within 300 miles or close, I'll meet halfway.
nah they're new in the box, un-used. i'm near detroit so yeah we could meet halfway, or i could ship...
edit: eh, 320ish miles is pushing it

Hmm, I was looking at the pics, why the lack of paint on that one part of the spring?? We could talk about this... I'm interested.
