Hi Everyone,
I purchased my first car last friday. Its a 2005 Civic Ex 5spd and its the magnesium color. I really didn't expect the car to be soo nice, handle soo well, and easy to drive. This is my first stick and i'm still learning but I love my new car. I don't have any money right now, but I do plan on adding a few mods. Since I'm new to this I was hoping you guys can help me along and make some recommendations. I've been looking at the V2 intake, Greedy Evo Exhaust, and trying to decide what kinda rear sway bar to get. (kinda looking for something that will eliminate the understeer) Please give me any feed back that u can think of, I would greatly appreciate it.
I' know u've seen civics before but I love my civic so much I'd like to post a 2 pics..(sry if they look like crap...its dark outside soo I took pics inside the garage with my phone)

as for rear sway bar, if you want a good decent change, get a rsx-s sway bar, 19mm. if you are looking for a dramatic change, go for neuspeed 22mm rear sway bar w/tie bar combo. the price for rsx-s sway is not much, roughly $40. neuspeed on the other hand can cost up and around $200. it's up to you.
as for engine/power mod, don't get any unless you like the looks of them. power wise, they do nothing but costing you big bucks. get turbo or swap. $800 for 4 hp isn't a very good ratio.

Rep Power: 246 welcome welcome. I have the rsx rear sway, and I like it alot. It only cost me 42 dollars, and its a nice change. a neuspeed upper strut bar and the sway were my first mods, and it made a difference. but like bamb00 said, you could spend 200 bucks on the neuspeed sway and tie bar combo or on the progress combo, which i know is popular with 7thgen owners also. you could always start with an exterior mod like blacking out your headlights which is easily doable. but anyway, welcome, and nice color.

Rep Power: 0 About to order the sway bar right now...but just wanna check with you guys that it will fit..also...some guy...(http://www.vtec.net/forums/one-messa...cle%5fid=38783) is kinda scarying me...but someone responds by saying that the problem this guy illustrates doesn't apply to the new rsx. Does this also mean the 05 civics?
