Rep Power: 316 Well here is my tinting job what do you think??? (Resized Pics 4 Easier Viewing)!!!
Ok well this week-end I decided that I wasn't going to pay 250 bucks to get my car done and did it myself... I guess writting up stuff is pretty useless as you guys will tell me that pics says it all..
I will comment on a couple of items and pics though...
First of all I am technically inclined like a few other members here so I decided to take the windows right off the car...My goal wasn't to save time but to do a perfect job without risking screwing up the Tint..
As some of you know working with tint is very very difficult..You have to have a very clean environment to start with and all the propper tools..
Second Get a Brand new exacto or cutter with plenty of new blades, why ??because when you cut tint its like cutting glass and after 1 or 2 passes the blades will get dull really fast......
Ok I know some of you will say BLA BLA BLA you don't need to take the windows off.. Well I havn't tinted in 5 years so it gets complex to slide the tint between all the moldings etc etc...
As youll see I was set up in my dinning room right table...Hahaha my house my rules i guess
The outcome is nothing less than spectacular......
Enjoy
Oy yeah and the best part is what????
It cost me 75 Dollars.... This includes all materials
Btw in one of the pics there is a towel between the fram and the window..
I did this so that when you reinsert the window with the tint you dont wind up scratching the **** out of it ....

Rep Power: 316 Well I just got the tint tonite for 20 bucks and I will go ahead and try it out...
I was told that it is one piece because it is not that curved......
Ill do it and post pics...
I know you have to spray the back glass the lay the tint down and cut out all of the rear window then go inside clean and try to tint..Ill need a hair dryer for this I believe

Rep Power: 0 the back window is the hardest but aslong as you take your time and use enough soapy water you should fine the rest of your glass looks great. I have a coupe and did the whole job in about 2.5 hours. used up 1.5 just on the back.

Rep Power: 260 plus tax... forgot that.
so $235.40 out the door. I was down in florida last spring break and saw a bunch of ads for 75.00 bucks. Obviously it was probably junk tint, but still. Nothing like that around here at all.

The tint looks good, props cuz I would never be able to do tint.
I just went with my friend to get his jeep tinted but all he had done was the front windows matched with the stock tint in the rear still turned out clean. costed him 50 bux for the front 2 windows with a lifetime warraunty.
