So i got a little.. OWNED * With pics *
Damage = hood + front bumper. Cause = HIT AND RUN ( probably backed into me got scared and ran away ) . Possible suspect = (suv, truck, jeep. anything with a 4 X 4). this happened couple days ago.
these were taken without a tripod by the time i was done takin them i couldnt feel my hands, thats how colt it was, lol. this is the worst timing ever for me. i didnt go through insurance ( i wanted to have a clean title as well as keep my insurance rate ), so now i neeed some oem parts for cheap, 04-05 front bumper and 04-05 hood (i might go with Carbon Fiber). does anybody know where i can get these for cheap?

well thats about it. let me know what you guys think. i know its fixable but believe me its the worst timing ever, since i had this money saved up for a lip kit + springs + shocks.
also when i drive, at a stop light people tend to look at my hood and be like
then they open their window and tell me "your hood is open", im like "i know, thank you"

what a ***. dumbass driver that can't back up worth ****. how much you think insurance will go up? i'd lean towards insurance. unless the hit is huge. get some quotes and post up the prices.

Rep Power: 334 Yeah that sucks. My car was hit 2 years ago while it was parked. It got sideswiped by someone destroying my drivers side mirror and making huge scrapes on my whole driver side.

I'm gonna fix it myself. Well, as much as I can. Keeping it off of insurance. I've already got a body kit to replace the front bumper. Gotta find someone to actually do all the metalwork and fix the crossmembers and whatnot. This is gonna be fun.

Rep Power: 0 Dang dude that bites, I feel the pain, just had a girl back into the side of my car in a parking lot, she said it was my fault. she had to be on crack, anyway, if you're going to pay out of pocket to fix it get a carbon hood, and the fenders and stuff may have to come from the dealer.
if u dunt have money i guess go through insuane..ur title will still be clean and will pass the carfax report..it will just state there was a lil accident and everything was fixed. just new parts.. i dunno..sry abotu that

Rep Power: 312 that looks like it might be more than just a hood and bumper check your front core support (bar that connects the front of the fenders and goes behind the headlights) looks a lot like my accident from sliding in ice, if it's just the top cor support it's around 100 or if u know someone at the dealer 67

you got to look at small accidents were no1 gets hurt positively.... look at all the parts that got screwed up. talk to the body shop and use whatever the insurance put towards (hood, bumper, w/e). like my car... the other guys insurance is paying me for an rsx front end and they cant say anything about it because they have no right to tell you how to spend the money as long as its to fix the car.
