Glad to see this site is still hoppin'. I've been a member of this site since 2002, but stopped posting a few years back.
I just got some new wheels for the winter to replace my 18's, and was wondering what you fellas thought. My only regret is not going for 18's, but since they're meant for winter driving, it's probably best that I went with 17's. I'm getting some 18's for the spring time to completely replace my current ones, I'm tired of them, and they're beat.
Sorry the pictures are so dark.
Lemme know what you guys think. Peace.

lol i got the joke...but 17"s for the winter?! you're nuts. id go with 16/15's for winter for actual wheels, or better yet steelies. but if you got other rims thats cool that you want it looking nice all year round. drive carefully on those!

Rep Power: 0 They are Volution VDR-20's, or something to that effect. I got them at www.wheelmax.com. Great service from those guys.

Rep Power: 249 When I think of winter rims I think of a great opportunity to get rims like the SSR Competition, Weds SA90, or Rays Gramlight. That's because they don't make them in sizes larger than 16" or 17" (in our bolt pattern) and they're usually at the top of lightweight charts, perfect for winter rims, impo.
But it doesn't matters for where you live. The rims in your photo seem to perfectly fit your purposes, and it looks damn nice, especially since the car is lowered... I guess the "rally look" is out.
What kind of rims did those black Civic's have in F&F anyways?

Rep Power: 0 I like em. They are kinda hard to see but look WAY different from the picture I saw of them on an online wheel store. Probably because its a dark pic. They look like a very glossy black.....what size tires are wrapped around those? 215/45?
