illumination color change

my cd player had light blue and blue illumination.... my car has all amber illumination.
i know its possible to change from amber to anything because ive takin everything apart. all i need is some plastic or something of the sort that is thin as two pieces of construction paper and has a tint or color to it.
does anyone have suggestions of where to get these materials (i looked in home depot and a small arts and crafts store.)
and what color should i do?

i live in boston mass so if you are around here and know a specific place let me know

ledautomotive.com for kits or wire in your own. Blue led is best.

Jeff B has a little shameless behaviour in the past
I found a cd player that matches the amber, or any color for that matter... Alpine CDA-9833. It can pretty much change to any color you want. back lighting only does green or amber though. Nice sounding stereo too.

not bad but alpine isnt quite what im looking for. plus the eclipse has a much cleaner look to it. ive never liked weird angles and shaped buttons all over the place on a head unit.
