I need to get my car repainted. I just want it to be the same color it is now. I had some hail damage in May that I got fixed and they had to repaint the car. Well, they did a crappy job, they said they put a clear coat on, but after a few months it became obvious that they didnt. I was just wondering if anyone knew about what it would cost to get it repainted. Just the outside, not the door jams or anything. I dont want a maaco job, i want something good. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

i had my car maaco'd for 1200. what a ripoff. You will pay more than maaco for a better paintjob. I finally found custom paint hookup though, so sometime Ill be getting a new one. Maaco isnt bad if you go around and fix all the overspray, and keep tons of wax and polish on it. They did a crappy job on a couple parts, but overall they didnt do a terrible job. lasted 2.5 years. Wait, I do have one bubble that has chipped, but isnt noticeable.

3000-4000 easy. Thats stripped primed painted and clear coated. Thats the only way it will ever look good.

thats kinda what i figured. think i could save some if i strip it myself? thats easy to do.
