They've had the same ad running in car mags for ages.
And some people recommended them.

I always see their delivery trucks running around the 22fwy.

Rep Power: 253 For a definitive answer I would PM rijowysock (he is the resident wheel GOD!!) BUT my guess would be that you need to seek out a good powdercoating shop. They can tell you where to get them preped or how to prep them & can probably also have the lip machined or anodized for you. As far a price I would guess $250-500 for four wheels (I would also think that you need to do all 4 to have them match perfectly).

Rep Power: 0 if the rim is colored other than silver, the rim wont look the same. I was going to do the same thing with my old G-Racing Kugi's and the guy told me that cause I had hyper gunmetal(limited edition color).

Rep Power: 0 Yo yo, most rims are made out of leightweight aluminum, I riding on some low pros and I've scuffed my rims about half a dozen times. All I have done is taped off the scuff mark then sand it down with some 150 then 400, since they are silver lip you can barely notice, but it does sand throught the clear coat finish on the lip. The right way to do it is to sqnd them down yourself(paying someone to do that kind of work is ridiculous-1 hour job max), then getting them powder-coated, I just got a quote on my 17s to get them all black, it will run just under $400 four the set which is also includes getting them completely stripped down......word

i live in san jose now, but i PM'ed him back. Getting rims repaired just almost like going to the dealer, you get raped on almost everything. ANyways this is the place that i got mine done. Its one of the cheapest place i could find within reasonable driving distance.
