Sparco vs Recaro
So i have been thinking of getting new seats for a while. right now i am down to either getting either Sparco or Recaro (or Bride?) seats.
anyone got opinion on which one is better? like Sparco Torino vs Recaro SRD and Sparco Milano vs Recaro Sport Topline?
TIA

depends how much u wanna spend...
sparco is much more affordable....
recaro and bride are expensive....
the material they use is also very different...sparco doesn't give you that much support compared to recaro and bride....but recaro and bride also wear down faster than sparco does, especially the support piece on the side of ur leg....
the sparco torino's have that vinyl thing therefore it lasts longer...
if u ask me, go with recaro and bride if u have the money....
but the biggest question you should ask urself is if u want looks or u want quality/safety...
for looks, go with sparco since they have two tones etc, recaro and bride are more of a safety seat, but if ur planning to race with it...i wouldn't suggest reclinable since they're only DOT approved but not FIA....only bucket seats are DOT and FIA approved (if u ever decide to go track racing)

I am 5'7" only around 140lb.. so i don't think i am fat or chubby...
I am looking for more of daily driving kind of seats... can bucket seats do that? i heard bucket seats are not that comfortable. I am looking for comfort and quality. Since i think all sport seats looks about the same.
and for those people that said sparco is better, have you guys tried out the recaros?
I only sat in recaros (SRD and Sport Topline), but never Sparcos.

You need to get the ones your *** fits into. Brides are made for little Japanese people.... so the liklihood you fit into them is pretty low, especially if you eat like an american. Its a toss up, both are fine seats, and it depends which model you want. I'd sit in all of them first, then buy the one that fits best.
^i wouldn't say that....
i've seen anywhere as soon as 8 months starting to have those little ***** form on the fabric...to complete weardown as soon as 1.5 years....
but usually if u don't grind ur *** on the seats, u'll be fine and will last you years....
i've never had problems with my seats cause i never grind my fatass on them...
for comfort and quality, go with recaro, they have awesome quality, and they also give you a really safe sense of feeling....u should only go with sparco if the money is on the tight side....
recaro's will definitely fit you if you 5'7" and 140 pounds...i'm 5'10" and i'm almost 200 pounds and i still fit into a recaro and bride in my old car....and keep in mind, the seats do "expand" a little bit...u just gotta break them in...

^not quite sure since i didn't have the same car to test them in....u might wanna email/call a company that carries both recaro and sparco and see if the rails fit....i'm assuming that they do, or maybe an adaptor piece might have to be made from the seat to the rail....that's all just minor stuff...
even if i had the money id still buy sparco's, if the guys in the jgtc, nascar, F1, and many other comps use them then they are more than good enough for me
but since your looking into seats for comfort i dont know you def wouldnt want any seat with a fixed back from any of the brands tho
again its all what you are looking for if you want more looks than performance or visa versa
all three are great seats, i just prefer the sparcos
