Wrecked Tonight, no turbo for me. tonight, i think i killed my 2k1 ex coupe. we all knew it as the "ultimate ricer" http://www.7thgencivic.com/forums/sh...8&page=1&pp=15 and i had my turbo budget all ready and i was gonna have a great new year boosting around town. its probably not going to happen. i was going with my friend on a food run for the guys at work to wendys. he has a dodge ram and was maybe 500 ft in front of me. i was looking at his truck and the light at the upcoming intersection had changed to red. by the time i had reached the intersection a 2000 nissan frontier was in the middle and boom, air bags deploy, interior full of smoke, loud crashing sounds, me flying in to the passenger seat eating an airbag, the wendys soda spilling everwhere, my rear view mirror flying off. then im stopped. im sitting on a curb with my windshield completely covered in airbag smoke. i back up out of the intersection and pull somehow into a parking lot, the truck pulls in to. the cops come and i get the ticket for running a red ($150), now for the damage. the truck only lost a bumper and probably an alignment, not bad. the civic however.... destroyed bumper, headlights, fender, hood, passenger side door, and the worst of all, the passenger suspension was ripped apart. the lower a arm was actually shattered. the frame is probably %99.9 bent. i
took everything out of the civic i wanted and the tow truck hauled it off. This is everything i pulled out of it before it was towed away. Its funny how when i drive hard im a better driver because im more alert. when im crusing with the radio quiet i run red lights and total my car. hah. im sore so im going to lay down. good night every one...

im not sure either tho. gasses can have a combustion point and not be flammable but bah i dunno

Rep Power: 0 man that sucks glad you weren't hurt..nitrous is not flammable and can't be ignited..but if pressure inside the bottle gets to about 1500 POP goes the weasel if you know what i mean. that's why if you don't get a shut off for your bottle heater for a certain psi and you leave the heater on overnight.. you may not have much of a car left with the bottle inside being blown to hell.

Rep Power: 0 im freakin sore, im going to take pics of the car today at the bodyshop. no the manifold was not on the car, it was already sitting in my room. no thats not naws, its a tard-o bass tube. hey lkm, sorry im not the perfect driver in the world like you, you must never fvck up. i dunno if they are gonna total it or not, ill post the pics and you guys can decide (it'll be a poll!! yay!). i gotta go get my dodge neon pos rental car, later guys.

Rep Power: 0 on a side note,i doubt nitrous tanks would ever blow up a car like in TFATF. its an oxodizer, not a rocket fuel. if the tank over-pressurizes, that would result in a non-flammable explosion of the burst disc.

Rep Power: 0 haha, maybe, if it is totaled my wife will get her car and ill get like a 5th gen civic and do a b20/vtec, always wanted to try that one out. im going to get my rental in a few minutes and take pictures of the 7thgen. later guys.
