my new system!
i just got my new system done at hifi buys..and this system rocks! i got a 13W7, a 1000.1 jl audio amp and a 2 farad cap...and i still ahve dimming lights! but leave me comments.....holla!

Awesome! I have a 10W7 powered by a JL 500/1. It's so loud in my car, I can't image a 13W7 powered with 1000watts.

Should be in ICE.

Anyway, the common misconception with caps. They do little to nothing for dimming. The big three need to be done first, then the cap last, if at all. Regardless, nice equipment, I guess your next steps are replacing the stocks and getting a hu? (Didn't see anything abuot those).

I have gone through a number of sub combinations in my Integra and the last setup before my 10W7 was a trifecta of Kicker Comp VR 10's. Good sounding setup but the 10W7 is BY FAR, the best sub I have heard. I have mine powered by a Phoenix Gold Ti600.2 (I think that's what it's called). I wish I could afford one for my Vic.

yeah this system is louder than anything i have had b4 even though i had 2 solobaric l7...but they couldnt compare to this one 13W7. i havent heard one sub make sooo much bass...plus w/ it being in a wave box it really can pis of the cars i park by at traffic lights and/ or anyone that doesnt like LOUD music

i paid $850 for the amp, and $850 for the sub. i have only had it for one day, but in two weeks, i get to turn the gain up louder since itll be broken in by then. its at 1/4 ofthe way. it is like a portable massage almost. Lil' Wyte...could it sound any better? maybe...but i like and this amp is awesome....i love JL Audio...IMO...it's the best!

i mlookin to do that soon...but i need to get a larger alternator first and a larger fuse box. after that im lookin for dynamat in the whole car...roof, floor, door panels rear panels, etc..even though already had the trunk lid matted but i helps pretty good, atleast I cant hear all that rattle in the back when i drive.

My monster loud days have been over for a few years but one 10W7 is all I need. Damn, I'm still pissed I can't get one for the Vic. (miss my integra). In highschool I rocked 3 JL 12W6's. MAN that S**T was loud.

My brother had 3 JL 10W6s in the rear deck of his '94 Mustang. That thing was insane. The guy he sold it to blew out the rear glass several times before blowing the entire system at an SPL contest.

That really is overkill though. I mean, if you just want to be the loudest **** on the block that's totally cool. But if you just want something nice, get something different.
