Amber or not to amber

I blacked out my headlights and need opinions on whether or not to keep the amber lens. My coupe is ssm btw....thanks

i personally like the amber lens on . . .
spring time, i'm going to remove my gunmetal headlights and paint the oem ones leaving the amber lens on. it looks jdm-ish IMO.

yup leave the amber on... it looks good but it also depends how u build ur car lets.. say it looks amazing with carbon fiber black grill

I like amber on black cars because it looks "JDM" but for a silver car I would actually leave it out.

i left the amber in on my ssm em2...looks nice...i painted the whole housing...so when i put the amber piece back in it looks like a dark orange...

looks abit messy there, hahaa i wouldn't suggest putting the amber in because u already painted the whole headlight black and the amber would not show too good of its colour....

personally I like the way teampointless has his, they are cleared then just outlined in black not all filled in... it looks nice wish I had a pic...

mine's painted black behind the amber lens. looks fine. just a little darker.

Thanks for all the opinions.....I originally wanted to paint mine like teampointless but the guy I bought the spare set from ruined alot of the chrome in the turn signal area, so I painted the whole thing black and kept the amber in. Removing the bumper is alot easier than I thought...Ill have pics later tonite or tomorrow.

Hey that's me! I like mine without it, but either way looks good. I'm personally going for a cleaner look with less colors and contrast. I think if I had a carbon fiber hood or gunmetal wheels...I'd have kept the amber in.
