the RSX Type S is a close call for outright performance out of the box no matter what people say (i sell Acuras) but the Type R is much more viceral and has alot better potential with a full double wishbone. It is also still faster than the S, but not by a huge amount. If im not mistaken, they only made a very small number of type R integras per year... 98, 99, 00, 01. they only made white in 98/99 and yellow and black came in 00/01.
buy a 98 or 99 if you can. we have one for sale. lol.

well... it is a 99 with 125,000 miles. its alot... but its a type r. we are selling it for 10 grand and it is white/white wheels. it needs a little TLC... (headlight fogged, rock chips) but i drove it for awhile and it runs like new. the guy was really **** about keeping it in good condition. never modded.
The guy I bought my last Teg from is selling his 2000 yellow R. IT HAS 3500 MILES ON IT!! He never drives it. I think the guy is gonna ask for like 25K though. Not sure any Integra is worth 25K stock but thats your call. It has been sitting in a garage the whole time though. I'm still a huge Integra fan but the K series has alot more N/A potential. Good Luck.........

How is the 2005 rsx type s with new type R headers exhaust, brakes suspension wheels and LSD. Is it pretty darn close to the japanese Type R? Cause the freakin Type R is light as hell.

the type r saves quite a bit of weight in the wheels/suspension area, especially the suspension with all the aluminum pieces. i think the seats that are like $1600 a piece are also pretty lightweight.. not sure beyond that that, that may be just about all

Type R's weren't meant for straight line. Any integra Type R will whip the **** out of an RSX on a road or autox track anyday. The suspension is so much better regardless of engine.

Its rare to find those in Canada I seen some with high mileage and $$. Preludes are really expensive here as well. I love the way the 2001 preludes look.

yep, my friend got his stolen. It was a white one w/volks wheels.
Now he's got a yellow one, with JDM front end conversion. You guys might have seen him around san diego.
