Arrow New mod schedule...opinions? advice? (mega post!)

Ok i havent done any mods in a while and ive saved up quite a bit. at first i was going to sell and get a Z or a 3rd gen rx7 but after looking into both and being in the situation i am now- no more car payment = ) - i decided against both ( z for weight and price to mod and rx7 for many reasons namly i cant fit in the bastard)

soooo... i looked into the aftermarket of the civic again and its waaaay better than before and with the exeption of a few (boilermaker and others that are going the way im looking at) there hasent been any serious circut racing / autocross 7thgens around so this is what im planning so far in the future.

first up is finishing up body mods... my kaminari front lip just got jacked in my friends apartments parking lot so im looking at the n1 style or BC 2 front bumper with some sort of adjustable splitter. next up is fiber images hood and trunk(holes in trunk lol damn wing)
not many seem to have the trunk... ive heard fiber images have a LONG wait for it... no? its not realy worth it for weight reduction but its about the same price as getting a new trunk and having it painted so i said what the hell.

next up is suspension.. currently im running goldine springs with whatever struts my suspension guy put on (tokico i think... there blue so not konis i know) with ingals camber kits. So far my choice is JIC majic's FLT-A2 coils
suspension techniques sway bar kit ingals camber kits and my current front and rear upper strut bars.... any need for rear lower tie bar? and should i only upgrade the rear sway bar? to much understeer with the front bar? any problems with the JIC majic kit? anyone know a good suspension tuner shop in FL / GA area? Also im planning on ordering the SSBS 17'' wheel front 2 piston calliper package? anyone heard good about these yet?

on the safety side im planning on ordering the autopower street-sport roll bar with harness bar and autopower 5 point for driver and shroth harness for passanger. with this im planning to get rid of back seat and whatever else i can to make the car more like 2500 lbs -ish with driver and gas ... can anyone knows SCCA rules well help me with this? if its legal or not for solo 1/2 or whatever else i could run with the setup im going for? ALSO big help i need is finding a NON reclining seat that i can fit my huge self in.... im 6' 2" 250 pounds and the racing buckets ive sat in i cant even get my *** to touch the bottem of the seat?!?

Next up is prepping engine for turbo... im looking for somone reputable that can do a mild p&p to speed things up, valve job (including new springs and retainers) and install ARP head bolts and low comp pistons( anyone sell forged pistons for d17 yet?) and do genaral engine tuning (mabie a balance/blueprint if the price is right) Also for the drivetrain im ordering the ACT package from dezod with the clutch and 11.7 lbs flywheel. Anything else you guys can recomend for me engine wise? planning on running as much boost as i need to get me to the 200-250 range 220 w/ about 180 trq would be best i see coming out of the D17.

After i get this done im taking and extended vacation to Ft. Lauderdale and staying at my cousins. Im dropping the vic of at SFP to build, install and dyno tune there turbo kit since all the kits so far have problems. Hopefully after all is said and done ill come out to about 15k for the whole shebang... i have about half that saved up... the rest i may finance or i can start pulling some O/T but since i have no car payment i see no reason not to just finace the beotch and get it done.

thanks for any help offered= )

You need to read some race rules first. Especially if you plan on building a car to race it. This list sounds like you're building a wannabe race car for the street.
1. Forget 90% of that ****, learn how to drive the car.
2. No turbo, No CF, no big brakes. All 3 are unnecessary and completely unbeneficial. Turbo on a race track is a waste since you'll never be able to keep it spooled all the time. Its also a huge bump in classing. CF is also a huge bump in classing, the stock brakes are adequate for most racing and most series/classes don't allow much in the way of major changes. STX will allow larger rotors, but there's no point to do it. 127 HP vs ITRs, WRXs, 328is, and Mustangs doesn't leave much to be desired.
3. No roll bar/cage for solo2. Its a HUGE bump in classing.
4. Forget the bumper and splitter. Get a stock one, it weighs less.
5. The only problem with the JIC kit is the front springs are too stiff.
6. Learn how to drive the car
7. Learn how to drive the car
8. Learn how to drive the car

You want to build a road race car, get the SCCA GCR (General Competition Rules) book or its NASA equivelant and read it cover to cover. Thats the most important thing in building a race car and most people don't realize it. You need to pick a class before you put the car in it. Also be ready to buy a truck and trailer for it.
For autocross, its simple. Leave it stock and run in HS, or do the suspension and boltons and run STS. It doesn't stand a chance in DSP, nor will it do anything in SM. STS is a still a huge longshot, but at least locally you can have a deciently competitive car... and buy the SCCA Solo II rule book.

Boilermaker thnx for scca info i know all that bumps class up rediculously but thats what im going for = ) i dont realy plan on scca racing, i dont realy have the time or money to keep up with it but i am planning to make a serious track competetor for general road course racing... i live a hour or 2 away from 2 tracks that have weekly test and tunes and i have a place 10 minuts from my house that is safe (NO cars, NO obsticles like houses or stuff) track to test at (roads layed for housing development... never finished i know owner). I will read into scca rules about what class id be in and see what my options are
