Just as long as the frame isn't bent, you're in good shape. Whats most important is that nobody was injured in the accident. If the insurance company gives you the green light to fix it, this is the perfect opportinuty to get it fixed the way you want to.
sucks that you kinda got tricked into a car accident. maybe you could get an estimate on the repair, then decide to get another car. just wondering, from the looks of your bumper, was it damage before? cuz i see thats not an oem honda bumper, i see over spray on parts that shoulda been black.

today i finally took my hood off, everything doesnt look so bad, picture will be up in a while.
i got an estimate today, comes out to be 2-3k, i guess its ok... the engine hasnt been touched, and the radiator doesnt need a replacement. right now im just shopping around for body shops and collision repair specialists places. looks like i wont be doing any exterior mods to.

sorry to hear about the bad luck..but if u have thousands of dollars laying around to spend..then i wouldn't go through insurance either
www.partstrain.com.. not exactly Honda but heck .. if its pricy .. best alternative..
Man.....you rear ended somebody it's still going to be on record...Sorry to say that, but that's life.....
Fortunately Civics are cheap to repair....I got rear ended and took $1700 fix the bended frame.....
They did a good job on fixing the frame though, can't actually see it had been rear ended at all....
I used to have a 92 Lude Si, bought for 7200 D.O., drove 1 year, then contacted other car...airbig didn't deploy, but cost 5500 to fix....total loss....insurance paid me back 7000.....I wouldn't buy the Civic if I could, but...was looking for an Accord since I got 27000 cash in hand....But....again, I hate a car having 2 radio in dash.....
Newer Honda sucks....
Anyway, if I were you, I would take the check from insurance company, then send the car to body shop and do whatever I want to do....parts labor everything should be less than stock, and, may even spare some cash.....

That's what my car looked like after my accident last month, except the damage was on the driver's side. Someone pulled out infront of me so it was their fault, it was in the shop for about a week and now it's as good as new
good luck with everything

good luck with everything
