Are there limits to the modifications that I can make on my 01 lx coupe. What are they?

Not really. The compression of the engine is less than ex, so it's better for turbo. It's just different like the exhaust system and stuff, and no vtec.

I want to get a turbo or swap my motor in the future. My car feels slow

i am still building the kit now. i expect the total to reach around 3500 all in all including dyno tuning. me and my friend are gonna do most of the install ourselves

Me? I was planing on getting some bolt ons. I/H/E. But after reading on the forum I dont know if it is really all worth getting if it will only add maz of around 10 hp. Ill probably just buy an Intake. So I guess Im going to save up some money for a turbo, or a new car in the future. Meanwhile Ill change the suspension and appearance of my lx.

you dont know **** about motors? dont turbo it

wait until you learn more and learn whats safe for your d17
k20a swap ? only swap worth it in my mind. prepare to cough up 7+ grand.
remember as zzyx said going in a straight line isnt everything. Work with suspension first

as for is a turbo that fast, answer yes!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I finally road in one and its whole differnt beast.

im getting my complete custom turbo - installed, tuned, ALL parts incl. intercooler, BOV,etc... for $2200 canadian OR $2500 with a full custom exaust... i'll probably get the exaust cuz mine now is only 2"
