Are people with evo's dumping the clutch? I've heard with the STi you can dump it since the transmission is pretty much bulletproof. I know that with my 02 WRX, you had to feather the clutch and it burnt it like crazy every time you launched it. So I tried to avoid it so I didn't have to replace the clutch all the time. But the AWD launch is great. You'll have fun.

You can't really dump it in an Evo. Sad to say yes. It's an amazing machine to drive, but for some reason the transfer case doesn't like huge surges of power. I am still doing more research in how to really bullet proof the tranny system, I already spoke with Dezod today about a race clutch. I'll find out what I have to do after I race tonight. I've never launched an AWD car before so this should be interesting haha...

Oh I'll baby it, at least until I can afford to beat the hell out of it... BTW - No drags tonight. Got rained out from a damn storm...

awesome man i love evos almost got a brand new solar yellow one last year got outbid by 2 grand then decided i would rather buy one of my other dream cars and pay it off right away instead
