What do you think?
Ok.. I always think of this and it bothers me... I am deciding whether I should keep on modifying my car or save all of my money until I could afford to buy something "faster" and something that I've been wanting to get... EVO.. FYI, I got my civic as a gift and I am not paying any bill except for my cellfone and other necessities... what do you guys really think about this? should I spend or save? I need some comments/opinions/suggestions on this...
there are couple things:
If I get a new car.. I will have a responsibility to pay for my monthly bill for my car and maybe a lil help to pay for my insurance... that's gonna be a big responsibility for myself...
or
If I keep my civic.. I don't have to pay for anything... and I can modify my civic as I save lil by lil (maybe)...
**** I don't really know what to do.... I feel like I'm just repeating myself over and over.. just say what you guys think.... aw yea I would never sell my civic by the way.. I will keep it no matter what.... coz it was a gift..

Have you ever thought about boosting the 7thgen? Personally I would keep the civic. I know it would be cool to have an Evo, but do you really want car payments? I'd say keep the civic and if your looking for a little more speed, think about a turbo setup.

Here is what you do....... You get a credit card.... If the car was a gift then id say that your parrents would help you get a credit card.... Got to the nearest hook up shop and put a full turbo kit on order.... Then pay down the bill monthly on the turbo.. You will be pleased to have a turbo civic. I WISH I HAD ONE!

From a pinoy to another... Keep the car and just save your money. Unless you want to be like me and trade it in (which is what I did but no regrets). I was in your same situation except I was paying for my car, insurance, etc.
I say keep it. You'll save $$ in the long run which was what I was doing when I still had my old integra running fine.

keep the civic and mod it... its a good daily driver, I wish i didnt have car payments and insurance, I would have so much $$$$ hahaha but yeah.. keep the civic and save the new faster car for later.

a civic is a civic, get a another a car if u got the money, even to decide to keep the civic, imo i would stop moding it also, waste of money, when the time comes u wish u havent spent that money on the car

persoanly i would keep the civic and save up.. get lip kit on it if u dont have one.. blackoutlights change the girll some nice 16's 15's black with polished lip... and then start workin on the engine.. either swap a k20 in or turbo the d17... but thats just me
Keep the civic for now and do nothing to it. Work2 or 3 jobs if you have to and SAVE SAVE SAVE!!!!!!!!!!!!! then trade in the civic And say you have,,,,$30,000 in the bank. Take out a loan for that $30,000 and just pay it back over time. You will one, Be building credit and two, Building intrest. If you don't have the money to back up a note, then dont get a new car. Medical problems have occured for me and set me back alot, bills are way up and I would hate to see the same happen to someone else. I hope you will consider what I have said.
