umm.. had a buddy out in LA who got referred the same way.. ended up taking out the turbo and making it back to stock.. try selling all the illegal stuff any way u can and just go legit with the parts.. IE legal turbo.. slam the ride with 2 inch drop.. put some legal tires and leave the nitrous bottle at home ... beats buying a truck.. buy a bike maybe.. best way to open up 160 w/o mods.. thats just me

If they are fix-it tickets, then research the codes he's citing you for and try to present a good argument to the judge. I wish you luck though man. You shouldn't have to be singled out like that.

Mad, these tix sounds like utter BS!
ESP the ride height. Bottom of headlight has to be 22" from ground. ONLY REQUIREMENT!
The exhaust has to be 95 Db or less
The car must pass emissions tests, if it does, they can not say anything about the turbo
The DOT thing with the tires, is a national regulation that has NOTHING to do with local jurisdictions or municipalities. DOT/SAE compliantness is determined at the national level and is carried through on state levels in coordinance.
The sticker, I don't think he has grounds to say anything considering it is not obstructing your view of the road. But we already spoke about this one earlier.

Joe, just get your car's exhaust tested. Have a shop go through and take measurements for your bumper and have em sign it. The exhaust is actually quieter now with a turbo. The turbo eats up the sound so much...at lest my Greddy does. Federal DOT overrides NH DOT......sorry. Same with Federal dB laws with exhaust. I'd get a good traffic lawyer to help you out. **** the cop. Why go and make all these changes and then move to Florida where you can drive with no troubles? I'd leave it alone and have everything tested and measured. Prove him wrong thats all you gotta do. He says your bulbs are illegal....show him the back of the package they came in where it says that they are legal...its right on there. get an emmissions and dB test. What do u have to lose?? Nothing. Go get em pimp.
man thats such b/s.. ur car is soo hot and hes just picking on u cause hes jealous ahah... id say get the truck and maybe combine it and make it a show car and a race car? if that a possibilty.. def dont get rid of it, its way to hot.. srry bro and like evryone else said get that ish tested. im sure u can beat that A$$hole haha

lol... my exhaust is definately louder than 95db... it's a full 3" with gutted cat.
I looked at all the DOT laws, we're taking my front bumper off and measuring the clearance from the bottom of the metal bumper to the ground, it has to be 16". That's the NH law.
As for the DOT thing, everyone here is right it is a national level law, not state. But I'll be buying new wheels with tires to give some more tread this friday haha.
The lights are fine 4400K is pure white so I ain't touching them
I am not allowed to have graphics on the windsheild regardless, so that's going (i looked it up) But Dezod's logo will be on the side of my car instead.
On another negative note; apparently they were painting the roads tonight. I now have YELLOW paint in my left wheel wells, on my left tires, and on my sideskirt, and part of the body on the car. Should I go to my state court with this and have them pay for repainting it?
