1989 Mazda 323 GTX
You can see another one in the background, that was my first car, thats also what happens when moving vans run stop signs >:\
We pulled the engine so many times its not even funny. I could, by myself, pull the engine, trans, rear end, suspension, and gas tank in 6 hours.
Who woulda thought this thing ran a low 14/high 13 The car was totaled in Feb this year cause of a drunk driver.

It must be this newer generation but some of you are so lucky to have such nice cars for your very first! I just hope you guys appreciate it. I use to work long hours and even weekends to be able to afford my little Subara and I had to have mom and dad co-sign for me back in the day. I paid it off after four years and drove it many more after that. My parents never had any money so it was hard to get any help from anyone. I did it all myself which to this day I am very proud of.
Anyway, just be thankful for what you have, even if mom or dad did help ya out! Not that they did, just a general comment.
I see too many spoiled kids in the area we live now who drive around in expensive rides that mom and dad bought for them and they treat these cars like crap. I know because my neighbor's kid is like that.

Me too! I was not implying that anyone's parents bought their cars on this site, I was just making a comment. Hopefully nobody takes it the wrong way!
I just see some awfully nice cars out there where young kids are driving them. Makes you wonder how they do it, that's all.

I forgot to take digital pics of my last car. Oh well i can still get the pic because the guy my dad sold to still drives around town and i see it every once in a while because it still has my original license plate on it.

My first, and best car ever was a 71 Mazda RX2. I still mourn ever selling it. Now that smog ends at 75, I may try to find and restore another one.
I borrowed the pics, but mine looked like this one, just Dark blue.
Sigh.... I loved that car.

YAH 4 X 4!!! Jeeps were cool, but off roadin tickets in construction zones got exspensive so I put rims on it and then got too many reckless driving tickets and lost my license then I got in trouble and my rents sold my babe while I was away for a week!! I'll never forget that!

My first american car was a 1984 Ford Mustang Coupe, with a V6. The car was a giant piece of crap...but I had fun with it anyway....when it ran.
my first japanese car...I dont have any pics of the car on line but my brother gave me his 1983 Honda Accord 4 door sedan with a 5 speed tranny. The car had a round 75k when I got it and I sold it with 113k miles to a pizza deliver guy. I worked in an autoparts store so I got all the parts I put into it at really good prices....It had PHAT 13 inch rims....HAHA, Custom pinstriping, stereo with amp and sub, Custom headlight covers, taillight covers that I cut out of Lexan and a universal dynomax exhaust system....I was a poor college kid.

This one isn't mine but it was identicle in almost everyway. All but the front lower air dam...mine wasn't so huge. I had the same L88 scoop on it and I had a set of Hoosiers on the back that were for the 1/4 only.
When I sold it she was doing high 10's.
