Just got my tint!!!
Just got my tint!!!
Just got my tint tonight!
Went legal (35%)...I live in a town that employs way too many cops with WAY too much free time. Would have liked to gone darker, but I'm getting too old to whip my windows down everytime I see a white Crown Vic.
Now for a few days of not rolling down my windows and watching for bubbles...but lifetime warranties are great!

yeah, tints are weird tho.. I have 20%'s all around, sometimes they look like they're 40's, sometimes they let so much light through that they look like 1's

Course, now that we have a Krispy Kreme, maybe I could have just avoided that area of town.
Hey does anyone know how the lifetime warrenty works on tint? They say if theres any bubbles they will fix it, but in my case, I went to a LLumar installer and they said it wasn't covered under warrenty because it wasn't the tint, it was poor installation. WTF

Anyone here ever heard of Diamond Window films? I have lumar on right now and the place I went to before they used Diamond Nichrome film, it is really good film, just expensive. For that film, it is $299 for 35%. I paid $330 on my old car for 5% all the way around. And man, that film was the ****. It also came with lieftime warranty on bubbles, discolor, scrathces. everything.

How to make a tint installer swear very loudly....
So as the tint has been baking in the sun, all the bubbles are coming out, and it's formed very nicely to the window.
It even formed around a giant mosquito that got trapped between the tint and the window on the passenger side.
I did this:
The installer did this:
That window is getting re-done on Saturday.
