I just installed theis new dash kit and I need some advice. Which do you like better?

Metra kit.
Full replacement looks better.
Cd door isn't necessary anyways.

The Metra Turbo kit looks more cleaner (with the door). Your HU seems too small though which throws the kit off. Maybe you can try putting the ring (that thing that goes around the HU) on. I know it wouldn't fit when I had my Alpine, but worth a try.

Leave the door thingy on... At least that way you can store CD's etc without people seeing it.

Without the door looks better. The plastics didn't match and it looked kind of sloppy. I think I have the same kit in mine and I like it.

Keep in mind that the kit that replaces the door = bad quality...

Soon enough your HU heats up causing the plastic to get soft... Give it a few months and you'll notice that the pocket portion starts to droop down. That was the reason I got rid of it and replaced it with the Metra/Turbo Kit since it utilizes the stock bracket which is much more sturdy.

i've had mine for over two years, and that has yet to happen.. though i have a scosche

i do like the one with the door better, though

i prefer the metra full replacement kit though...it's better in term of the whole kit cos' it locks better in our dash....compared to the 1/2 metra kit which locks unsecurely (IMO) into the dash..

The bezel around the CD player doesn't match your car's interior using the one with the door. I vote for the doorless option because it looks more like it came with your car.
