Introducing myself
Hi everyone, I recently purchased an '03 Civic EX. I figure I'll be hanging out on these forums often and just wanted to introduce myself.
Details: 2003 Honda Civic EX Coupe, silver, automatic. I was hoping for a stick, but my options were limited. I was looking for an EX or Si with less than 30k miles and under $10k. I found like 6, 5 of them in LA area. 1 was an Si, but sold already when I called.
Most importantly, my car has a salvage title. The guy had it listed for 8900, but he took 8100. You can tell the front bumper paint does not match the factory paint exactly. Neither does the aftermarket spoiler that was installed, but it's not too bad. The worst part of it really is they got overspray all over the car. I took it off the windows with fine steel wool and will probably try to remove it from the body with clay.
My other car is a MB SLK32. I got a job about 85 miles away, and I did not want to put that many miles on the SLK.

Thanks for the tip about the search button.
I'd like to do something about the bumper, but I'm a little low on funds at the moment. Also I would like to upgrade the performance first. It's a bit tought going from the SLK to the Civic.
First on my list is a CAI, I'm currently trying to decide between the K&N or the AEM. Both seem to have pretty good reviews from the people here.
Second, I've seen a couple of posts about a pulley kit, so I have to do some research into that area.
Third, and maybe this should be higher, I need to do something about the stereo. I don't need thunderous bass, but the stock just isn't cutting it. I've been looking at the Blaupunkt Sacramento and some decent speakers.

It's got 25W x 4 RMS and i think the display matches nicely with the instrument cluster. Hopefully it has better recection than the stocker as well.
