sedans have holes in the side panel where the moulding is attached. It is not grooved, and it is painted, but you will need to fill in about 4 or 5 square holes with something and paint over it. I think it will cost too much to be worth it, because the whole side of the car would need to be painted to blend paint. Just leave em on.
