also check out mufflertech.com they have good rear sections. Thats where I got mine, plus it is 125 to 150 shipped. Then I went to the shop and got the rest of the piping from the cat to the rear section for $60.

^^ if you have an LX, go for the axle-back. if you found a ca-back for the LX, go for that. a cat-back for the EX will fit on the LX, but it requires a lot of work and parts from the EX...you are better off getting an axle-back and doing custom piping to the stock cat.
ive got a VP(value package 4 lyfe) but its pretty much an LX without all the power windows and buziness like dat.
Edit:HP racing makes 2 different cat backs for DX/LX civics of our generation

the HP racing website doesnt specify if theyre for LX/DX...so i dont know where you found that. id be careful or you might get stuck with something you cant use.
as far as axle-back, i have the hp racing j-spec, i like it.

I too have the HKS Hi-Power axle back. It truly is a lovely exhaust. Mine is rust free, still shines, and sounds great.
Recently though, I had a slight problem with it rattling obnoxiously when cold. I went underneath my car last night and found that the hanger tip was tapping against the bottom of the trunk for some odd reason. I just adjusted the hangers (hung the exhaust through different holes in the rubber exhaust hanger thingy. Now my muffler sits a bit higher which equals, less scraping, better fitment in the rear, and more sexy angle action going on. Oh yes, HKS is WIN!
