I Wrecked It
sunday, 7-18-04
raining pretty hard but i still went...took the on ramp...turned a bit too hard...going a bit too fast...tires loss traction.
my car spun and slammed the front into the concrete divider...continued to spin and slammed the rear end. kinda grinded itself to a hault.
can i blame the firestones or the conditions? or do i blame myself?

i feel for ya tho, sucks having your car wrecked... bet it sucks more when all you have is yourself to blame. when my car was wrecked i took solace in the fact that a drunk driver did it, not me.
if your insurance is like basically any other insurance, your premiums will go up.
in BC, we have ICBC, after 10 years of safe driving they give you road star coverage -- its only then that you get ONE accident without their evaluating your premiums.

actually...accoring to gramma my great grandmother did it...
heres the story...
great gramma died in vietnam a few days ago...i made plans with some ppl a few weeks ago...a promise
so sunday was the day that our church has the service for my great gramma over here...just to pray and all
but i didnt plan on going since i was gonna be away...so i went to morning mass
therefore my gramma's conclusion is that my great grandmother gave a lil heavenly nudge but still saved my life
im starting to belive it

same thing happened to me a few months back. it was raining and i went into a turn on the highway too fast. the rear end came out and the car did a 360 slamming into the divider with the front left side then it slammed head first into the yellow barrels full of sand on the exit ramp. i thought the car was gone. it was a miracle. the only damage was my rim got busted wide open and a few very minor scratches on front bumper that i buffed out. i think it was because i recently rotated the tires and the fronts (that got transfered to back)had like 20% tread left

dam man...pretty lucky huh?
i hate these dam tires...normal ppl spin out in wet conditions under heavy acceleration while i spin out in normal weathers slowly going from a dead stop on top of a hill
these is brtual damage btw...the right quater panel is compressed in and so is the trunk, no tail light, front bumper is gone and my a/c thingy is busted in...pretty bad shape
estimated to be around 6-7 grand
glad its not totalled tho

money man...everything is about money...and theres never enough
how different can it possibly...its still a mode of transportation
i dont think the ability to speed or handle any better will affect me anytime soon...being able to drive again is all that matters
but on the other hand...how will it be different

i cant post them, too big.
and my car right now is looking at a 6500 pricetag.
just to explain, the front bumper is hanging on by 1 tab, the right tail light is...nonexistent, the trunk lid is a bit smaller, the right quarter panel is like the right 1/8 panel or something. my car is a bit like a nascar car after a bump into the walls, changed out the masking tape with red duct tape, spanning all over the front and the back. just got it put on too, ghetto styling.
thinking it over...the pics can be esily found a here
