Smoked tails *update w/ pics on car*

So far, it looks nice but too dark for legal use maybe. Be sure to post pictures of them on your car and lit. Lit in the day and at night. But good clean work man. Were they originally carbon fiber tail lights? I think I can see the weave in some of the pictures, unless I'm on crack or something...haha.

yea they were cf tails, i didnt want to use my stock ones cause i was afraid of messin them up so i used those...they have been sitting in my garage for ever so i was like wtf...might as well try...And ill get some pics of them on my car when i get my car back from the body shop

They look nice man. You'll love how they light up..... that red coming through the blacks look cool.

I got pulled over for that **** though...... mine are chillin in my closet for now. I"m only gonna use them for car shows or whatever.

hustle - why did you get pulled over for them? whats so illegal about them? as long as a decent about of light is visible though them, i dont see a problem...

like its spots that are smoked and spots where it has come off, im gonna sand it all off soon..

OH BTW you need some madd gloss on those suckers

Well i mean put more gloss, the one they sell sux

go buy some other type of gloss

It lights up great at night and when the sun isnt out but on bright sunny days you couldnt see ****. On sunny days it was like a little speck of red light and the po po got me. He gave me a warning though.... no ticket. I thank him for that.

Buy the engine high temp clear, i used it on my interior parts after i painted them and it holds up pretty good, no chiping yet.

yea i cant wait to get um in and see how they look...i also bought some eyelids off fraga, and there getting painted, and ill have my car back tomorrow...so we shall see

Technically, the rear bumper has red reflectors and you see the red in those clear tail lights much more than black tail lights.

The Lexus has red bulbs with clear reflectors, so it looks red. Smoked tails are legal as well, as long as you can see some red in there.

Dam man looks good.. i was going to smoke mine blk but my friends keep getting pulled over.. at night its fine but during the day it stands out.. but looks good!!
