u know... i never even THOUGHT about that and preludes are my FAVORITE car... hmm... id like to know too... but im too lazy to go lookin online somewhere...
base - 200hp/156 lb-ft (at the flywheel) 168hp/143 lb-ft (at the wheel)
stats from Sport Compact Car October 2000
type SH - same power but equipped w/ ATTS (Active Torque Transfer System) which applies torque to outside tires during hard turn to reduce understeer
J-spec type S - 220hp, not in US
*and the H22 engine that they use all have vtec i believe, maybe not the base but i still think its equipped w/ vtec*

yup in the US....only 2 trims with prelude....the base and SH type
both with same hp/torque......SH Type has better suspension wise.....SH= Super Handleing
same power but equipped w/ ATTS (Active Torque Transfer System) which applies torque to outside tires during hard turn to reduce understeer......100% of the avaliable torque will tranfer to the outside tire.....to counter the outside force of the car when making the turn
both with same hp/torque......SH Type has better suspension wise.....SH= Super Handleing

We go up for canyon drives and that thing can handle.
But from what I have read and heard autox'ers prefer the base model over the SH. I think ATTS was Hondas failed attempt at a new form of LSD. Why else would they not have it on other models? Someone please explain?
