Feline Troubles
For the past couple of nights someones cat has been spleeping ontop of my car. i have no idea whos cat it is , so yelling at someone wont do the trick. a friend of mine said to mix some anti freeze w/ tuna and that should take care of it but... i dont want to resort to that
any suggestions?

Rep Power: 470 I'd get the problem taken care of soon.. I wouldn't go with what your friend suggested but do something. A friend of mine had a jeep and cats were sleeping on top of it and scratched that thing all up.

Rep Power: 281 put some hot red pepper on ur car, the cat will get up tehre sniff it or tatse it and go crazy, doubt it would come back, thas what i did with my squirrel problem. lol.

Rep Power: 319 I had the same problem, until one night after I wax my car. The cat left a scratch on the car but he never slept there again. I don't know maybe one day you can stay up all night and scare the cat away, or buy a car cover and cover your car at nights.
I just remember a story about a cat getting inside the engine to sleep. in the morning the guy went to start up the car and it died on him, he started up again but by mid afternoon there was a nasty smell coming from the engine.

Rep Power: 347 i might try the pepper thing , i wasnt really gonna worry about it until i walked out to my car this morning and ther are two huge claw marks follwed by paw prints and fur. i would call animal shelter but we dont have one where i live u have to call the cops and thier rediculous. were moving in six weeks and by then ill have a garage .... thanks all

Rep Power: 347 im not getting a car cover cuz im moving in less than 6 weeks and ill have a garage to park in, and ive scared him off twice but he keeps coming back ... i just put some red pepper all over my hood, roof and bumper ill let yall know how it goes

Rep Power: 339 redpeppers are a classic. it really wont hurt them, i think. ive heard of people who have a cat that's had kittens, putting some of the pepper on the kittens so the mother wont 'eat' them in some casses.

Rep Power: 347 the red pepper worked.... i belive. After i sprinkled some of the stuff all over my car it took about to hours and then i heard a very strange hiss and a groaning sound. checked it this morning and no fur anywhere just a little strange residue from the pepper thanks

Rep Power: 302 Oh man.... some of you guys are really mean. The Cat doesn't know any better. It's just looking for a warm, safe place to sleep. There's probably a dog around somewhere, so the cat stays off the ground. How would you feel if someone wants to kill your dog for crapping on the neighbors lawn? People just hate cats because they can't control them like dogs.
