Are you happy with the idea? You have to drive it, and ultimately, you have to be satisfied with it. Good news is, if you get sick of it, you can always change it, headlights and grilles are easily changed/replaced. I think it looks good blacked out with cleared hl's. Also looks good blacked grille/blacked heads.
Altezza grill w/ matching lip, black halo headlights. just to give you an idea
If you're going to paint your stock headlights, make sure you use a dark black black color (doesn't matter if the finish is glossy or flat), like civic2uner's headlights. Some come out looking "gunmetal" and it doesn't really match very well imo
but the cleared lights look good too
