im thinking of painting my tail lights to match the color of my o2 civic, do yall think its a good idea

Hey, Gray Ghost- are those taillight covers? OR did you just paint over the plastic lens? I've looked all over for covers! But obviously not in the right places. Auto Ventshade makes them for Focuses and Civics, but all the places I checked don't stock them. AVS advertised its own site in "Import Tuner", but it's not up yet!

I have a black 02 civic coupe, tint or paint, im not sure. to match the color id paint but the all black would look hella nice on mine.

They are painted. I had them painted, along with my mirrors, door handles, and damage by my body shop when my car got vandalized.

But there is a DIY floating around somewhere for it to be done.

thanks for your advice, im still trying to get the tail lights off the car but it looks like i have to take off the bumper cover

You did a great job with those lights. They look great. Im having some painting done to my car this week and want to do something similar but my car is rallye red. Does anyone think that the effect of the paint will be as good since my car is already red? I need some opinions...thanks in advance.
