Steelies Ain't That Bad!!!
I finally sold my TenzoR Shu4s(white) 18" with Parada Spec2s and I have to put on my steelies back! I think I'm gonna stick on em, untill I find me a set of Honda alluminum alloys...
--nice pull on the get go...
I'll never go any bigger than 16s...
--Steelies(33Lbs) are 40+Lbs lighter than my Shu4s (Shu4 w/ tire=45 Lbs)
--Steady gain on a 4 degree grade up hill, not like my Shu4s it kinda hover on 90MPH
--I kinda like the ghetto JDM look!
--I'll paint em black? or White?
Any 7thgenners using their steelies post on some pictures

And ow! I got the TEIN Basic Damper and I got about another 1 1/2"(front) about 2"(rear) to the last thread, so I can lower it more, but there should be a bump stop right?... but I don't like it too low, my exhaust pipe will be scrapin every little bump on the road...

if you just keep em clean, they don't really look that bad at all...it's just that I remember when I used to have my rims, and see these ricers that had stellies on, i be like "man... buy yourself some wheels!" now I have steelies on... I wanna put big o stickers that says "I used to have a nice set of wheels, and i'm on a verge of lookin for a new set"

steelies are ok... i rolled on them for awhile...

but my 14'' hx alloys, now those are way lighter than the steelies, the stock firestones actually start slipping in 1st gear when the vtec hits... lolz...

i should have never gotten rims... oh wellz, the white wheels are gone anyways, sold them awhile back... imma stick with the hx wheels and get me a good set of 195/60/14 to replace the 185/70/14 crapstones

Not my Si rims to sell. I sold my 17s to a friend with an 03 Si and she just let me ride on hers till my 19s came in so I wouldnt have to do the steelie thing.
Sorry~!!!
