Ground Control Coilover Kit for Honda Civic 2001
Height Reduction Range - 0"-2.5", Include bump stops.
Note: This Kit will only fit Stock, Sachs, Boge Shocks.
Ground Control Adjustable Coilover Kits allows you the option to customize the ride height of your vehicle. Unlike other spring kits that require removal of the strut assembly, the unique design of the Ground Control kit allows for quick, easy adjustment. Simply lift the corner(s) to be adjusted and spin the adjuster up or down to raise or lower the vehicle. Ground Control spring kits are designed to be used with either stock or aftermarket shocks.

All height adjustable kits feature Eibach Springs. These high quality springs offer a lifetime warranty against defects. All adjusters consist of a threaded sleeve and adjustable spring seat and are made using 6061 aluminum, anodized for greater durability and appearance. All other adapter hardware is machined from the same high strength 6061 T-6 aluminum.
Note: This Kit will only fit Stock, Sachs, Boge Shocks.
Tech note: For the Front, trimming of stock spring seat allows added range of adjustment

anyways i got those coilvers...the ground control ones that your speaking of and i love em....even though there only sleeved coilvers i still love em.....they cause me no problems besides blowing the shocks but oh well....it's all apart of preferences.....alot of people here bitch and moan about the smooth ride but if you ddon't mind a little bounciness i would get the ground control coilvers....they were worth every penny in my book

but if moneys not tight get Hayames man.

yea you could get by without one....but i dont recommend it unless you got the hook up on tires...cause once those tires get ate up (depending on your drop) your gonna be like i wish i got one..it's only 130 shipped from danscreations...and a AEM SRI is a waste right there man seriously!! does nothing but makes noise....wait till you can turbo for engine mods or something.

edit: well what should you do next ? Depends what kinda look your going for? i personally like the "JDM" type look...so ummm i would say black out the heads and put the amber piece in....and a nice lip kit as well! but FIRST a drop!!!!

i like the jdm look as well but i am afraid i will mess up my headlights. i am always so unsure about suspension because it is real technical and important. i feel like i am skimping and i cant afford the real stuff.

I would just get true coilovers. You get these sleeved ones for 300 bucks and eventaully your shocks will go, when your shocks go you'll need new shocks and they will runs like 400-500 bucks so now you're in for like 800 bucks. If you cant install this stuff yourself thats another 200 bucks so your up to about a grand.

Might as well get true coils..... thats what i decided to do.

WHOA WHOA WHOA people people calm down seriously though!! It's not like the car is gonna catch air on the freewat LMAO no no no no nothing like that...i have done well over 125 on the freeway with blown shocks and believe me there's nothing to worry about...unless you hit a 5 inch curb then worry hahahaha....you will be fine. Trust me. I've ridden on blown shocks for years with my other cars....no worries.

Even on the street i have hit big bumps and the worse that happens really is you feel a nice little "BUMP" and the box in the back moves.

well since your worried about it and don't seem to know to much on suspension im gonna tell you just go with Eibach man. your not gonna be slammed but that should takethe ants out your pants....

edit: but when i got Eibach i was pissed because it wasn't low enough( it really isn't ) personally springs are a waste to me.

If you're gonna spend money on this stuff do it right. Thats how I look at things when I do something to my car. I already made a huge mistake by trying to save some money with my rims for example. Its up to you really..... but make sure you dont regret it later.
