My new Civic EX with pics
I bought my car in March, had a choice between a 04 SE-R SpecV or something around the same range. My dad wanted to buy me a 3 series BMW, but i have had a bad experience with German cars and fed up paying so much for gas and all the maintenance stuff. I had a 01 Jetta VR6 5spd, that thing was so crapped out.
After a long time deciding, i chose the Civic over the SE-R, simply because i like it. Not as fast, but more refined, everything about it is there and nice. Reliable and plenty of power imo. I just wanted something good, looks nice and delivers quality. Here are some pics.

Im nopt planning on any mods. But if you guys know anything that i should know and maybe buy, then tell me =)
Thanks

i was thinking whether or not i should do anything. Its tempting, but i dun know if i should. I was thinking maybe lower it or something, but its a sedan, wonder if it'll look good. and if black rims will look nice on a silver car. what do u guys think? damn, ur white civic looks nice.
What kinda suspension do they sell for my car? and would anyone know if black 16s would look good on a sedan civic? i think it might look weird... also, what kinda bolt on parts can i get for the 04 civic?

I have stuff done to my sedan, but it's mostly OEM parts and subtle mods. Here's what it looks like. If I had your car, the only thing I would do is clear out the amber from headlights (or just swap the amber bulb with a clear one). Everything else looks so good already.
EDIT: One more thing is I would get some clean sideskirts to match the front and rear bumpers. Something like OEM that I have, if it fits. Should make the car more complete.

They have good service and fast shipping. The part you want is SIDE UNDER SPOILER, not the aero sides. And it says coupe only, but they also fit sedans without modification. Only thing I'm not exactly sure of is if the 01-03 models are the same as the 04 models in terms of body shape. I think it is.

i chose the civic over the SE-R because i didnt feel a click with the SE-R. Sure, its more powerful, torquey and better seats, but i chose the civic because it was a civic. The SE-R was ugly too compared to the 04 civic, the SE-R's looks cant even compare. Its not always about hp or torque. and also, i hear lots of problems with the SE-R (compared to a civic that is) therefore finally decided the civic over the SE-R.
Ahh well that works
The problems the SE-R's had were with the 02 and early 03 models. The 04's are are all TSB free. But I do agree, I don't think it gets more reliable then a civic. I got the civic for reliability and the Spec-V for some go
Grats again on the Civic, im sure you will enjoy it!

Grats again on the Civic, im sure you will enjoy it! dang, nice car, but with the choice between a 3series BMW... Your dad must have been willing to spend some money.. It's cool that you got a civic and saved ur pops some money.. You could have also looked into a Lexus IS300. Japanese reliability, great Lexus quality, and the infamous 2jz-ge block. but anyways, since you already got ur car, congrats.
I'm considering getting a sedan due to insurance purposes but am wondering if it will impact the cost of insurance that much? between a civic sedan and coupe? i have a point on my record ... so insurance rates is a big thing. I really like how the coupe looks with the new 04 headlights tho..
