Heres a teaser (again)*UPDATED*
Ok install was pretty good started at 6 finished up at around 11 or so (this includes a couple beers and a couple of buddies here). I only had one screwup throughout the install, you'll see it tommorow. Well I still gotta put the skirts and the front bumper back on tommorow...But for now heres a pic, not the best lighting btw the pic is a little fuzzy..

how much you pay for the kit man? and do you know approximatly shops charge to get them installed? i think when i'm done modifying my vic the vertical doors would be a great finishing touch.

LoL. I don't think vertical doors go all that well with out cars. They are civic's. Anyways, good luck on the install and hopefully you like it.

Rep Power: 334 Installation time I think I'm looking at a good 4-6 hours... As for the price I got a somewhat sponsorship so I didnt pay much over cost of them which is a really good discount...I'm just not at liberty to share exactly how much.. I will have install pics and show you guys some things to make it an easier install...

Rep Power: 334 Well from what I understand Samari 1siksivik said there is some metal on the inside of the fender that is in the way of the bracket so it has to be shaved...Dont worry I take plenty of pics...

Rep Power: 0 The fender has to be shaved becase the stock hinges only swing out. When you add the motion of swinging up, there's a control arm that swings up with it. If your fender is not shaved or rolled, then the arm would not be able to swing out. Its something you'll understand once you look at it. It's kinda confussing to explain.
As for the price of the kit. I hope you didn't pay over a few hundred cause the "cost" of the kit is actually really really insanly cheap compared to the price they sell it at. When I found out the REAL price of these kits, I was in disbelief that they are actually ripping people off by that much.
Good luck with the install. Have fun with it. And keep up the good work on your clean ride...
